Welcome from the Director

It is my pleasure to serve you as the Assistant Dean, Office of Graduate Ethnic Inclusion (OGEI) in The Graduate College. This office has been serving graduate students from under-represented populations successfully for several years. I am joined by wonderful, caring staff members who understand the struggles and joys found in graduate education. Our primary goal is to help you be successful on your pursuit of a graduate degree. We truly want each of you to shine! Although our office serves students in specific fellowship and scholarship programs, we seek to serve all diverse graduate students as an OGEI community of scholars. In addition, we are thrilled to work with undergraduates through our SROP and MCNAIR programs and other partnerships to help these students develop the research skills necessary to proceed into graduate education. Finally, OGEI serves faculty and staff in helping to build inclusive and welcoming communities. Please feel free to contact our office at anytime.
